Just take it out of the water right after use and let it air dry for 4–5 hours — sunlight, a fan, or AC all work fine. Once it's completely dry, it's totally safe to sleep on.

A gentle wipe with mild soap and a soft cloth does the job. Rinse it off and let it air dry, just skip the harsh scrubbers or brushes, since they can damage the surface.
